I’m a communications director, most recently of the Tor Project, a nonprofit developing software for privacy and freedom online. Since 2010, I’ve worked with nonprofits in education, human rights, and data & technology.

As a freelancer, I can help you with copywriting, crafting clear, compelling messaging for diverse audiences, building and scheduling launch plans, and developing comprehensive strategies to achieve your goals. Send me an email about what you’d like to achieve.

I also act (here’s my reel), write poetry, and write about poetry. My poetry has been featured in several online journals, including six poems at THE VOLTA, and in print: Language Lessons: Vol 1, the first book from Third Man Books, the publishing arm of Jack White’s record label.

My work stems from an early interest in and analysis of the development and perception of human motivation, language use, personalities, and capacity to learn and change.

I can help you make six raised garden beds and a trellis from an Ikea bed frame. I live and garden in Brooklyn.
